Lake Wissota Lions Club
Welcome To The Lake Wissota Lions Club!
The Lake Wissota Lions Club was established in 1973 and it has served the Lake Wissota Area for over 40 years. Our membership consists of over 35 men and women, and we are always looking for new members! We celebrated our 50th Anniversary September 9th, 2024. What a great milestone!

We are very active in doing projects and raising money to benefit the local community as well as support the efforts of Lions International, the world's largest service organization. If you are interested in joining our club, please join us at a meeting! We meet the first Tuesday of the month and have a meeting over potluck at our Pavilion (during summer months) or dinner at a local restaurant during colder weather months. See Calendar for locations. If you are interested in becoming a member, please join us at one of meetings!
We have three major fundraisers every year, a bowling tournament, Ice Fishing contest and a golf tournament. All money raised from all of our events goes right back into our community! Our beautiful pavilion is open for rental next to the townhall with kitchen and restroom facilities! These facilities are available to rent.

We are almost through another year and our Lions Members have been volunteering in the community and planning some great events. We have our Annual Bowling Tournament the 25th of January at the Falls Bowl. Get signed up!
​
And our Annual Jig’s Up Fishing Tournament Gun Raffle. If you want this year’s tickets, please reach out to any member or myself to purchase tickets. $20 each and only 400 sold. We have some great prizes! They are selling fast! All money raised will stay in our local community!

On another note, if you are interested in see what the Lions are all about, please reach out. We have an amazing group of fun people. Our general membership meeting is always the first Tuesday of each month (Check our calendar or Facebook for updates), and you can come and see what great things we do. Come to a meeting, meet our group and see if it is a good fit. Not sure? Contact one of our members and let’s chat!

Bowling Tournament
Every year the Lake Wissota Lions have a bowling tournament on the Saturday of the weekend between the Superbowl and the last NFL playoff game. The tournament is open to anyone with both men and womens brackets. The tournament is 9 pin no tap so you do not have to be a great bowler to do well.
